For most people, the uncertainty of the process is more stressful than the decision itself. That’s why we created a simple guide that shows exactly what building a home looks like — from contract to move-in — without jargon, guesswork, or overwhelm.

Here’s the short version:

Phase 1: The Design Phase

This begins as soon as you sign your contract. This is where your home starts to take shape on paper.

You’ll work with Carly, our Design Lead, to select:

• Your floor plan and layout
• Courtyard design
• Kitchen and bathroom features
• Finishes, colors, and exterior details

This phase is about personalization, not pressure. We guide you through each choice so your home reflects how you actually live.

Once all design selections are finalized and permits are approved, your home moves into construction.

Phase 2: Construction Phase

This begins with your Pre-Construction Meeting.

Before any building starts, you’ll walk your lot with:

• Carly (Design Lead)
• Butch (Project Manager)

Together, you’ll review:

• Your site placement
• Your design selections
• The overall construction plan

From there, Butch leads the building process — from excavation and framing through drywall, finishes, and final details. You’ll receive updates along the way so you always know where things stand.

Phase 3: Move-In & Warranty Phase

This begins when your home is complete. When construction wraps up, you’ll have a final walkthrough with:

• Butch (Project Manager)
• Amy (Customer Experience Lead)

You’ll review your home together, receive your keys, and officially step into your new space.

From there, your 90-day warranty phase begins — giving you peace of mind and support as you settle in before your home transitions to HOA care.
